Intro to Community

The Community section of Scholarship Region is where scholars connect, share experiences, and support one another throughout their scholarship journey. As a member of the Scholarship Region community, you can ask questions about any scholarship, download scholarship resources and seek support from verified scholars on the platform. The Community helps you stay informed, clarify worries, access valuable resources, and ultimately helps you win a scholarship. How to join the Community To start interacting with the Community, create a scholar account and log in to your account. You can create an account and sign in here . Click on ‘Community ’ from the main navigation menu to start interacting with the community. Join a Community room As a member of the community, you can search community rooms that suits your interest to connect with scholars of like minds. Browse through the community rooms available and join. In the community, you can ask questions, join a discussion, download valuable resources and also see a list of scholars available in the platform. How to ask a question in the community To ask a question in the community; Click on ‘Ask a question’ In the page, search and select a ‘Room’ related to the question you want to ask. Note: For example, if the question you want to ask is related to ‘NNPC Scholarship’, search for the ‘NNPC scholarship’ room and select it. If the room does not exist, select ‘General’ room. How to reply to a question in the community As a member of the community, you can ask questions and reply to questions asked by members. To reply to a question, click into the question you wish to reply and send in your reply in the ‘Reply’ box. How to download resources in the community To download resources such as past questions, study materials, etc from the community, search for the material you need on the ‘Community page’ or: Go to the community room about the scholarship. Navigate to the ‘Resources’ tab and; Download the resources How to find scholars in the community There are two ways to find scholars in the community. Find scholars in room: Go to a community room and navigate to ‘Members’ tab, you will see a full list of all the members of the community. Identify scholars with verified badge: Scholars who have won scholarships will have a ‘verified scholar’ badge.

How to download or share resources

To download a resource from the community; Sign in to your account. Navigate to ‘Community’ in the menu. In the community page, search for the resources to see if it is available on the platform. Once found, click to view its details and download it. To share a resources with the community; Sign in to your account and navigate to ‘Community’ in the menu Search for the room where the resources is relevant. Note: If you cannot find a relevant room for your resources, search for ‘General’ and select it. Click in to the room and navigate to ‘Resources’ tab. Click on the ‘Upload’ button to upload a resources. Under Description: Write a brief description of the resource you want to share and; Click or tap ‘Post Resource’.

How to ask a question in community

To ask a Question in the community: Sign in to your account. Navigate to ‘Community’ in the menu. In the community page, click the ‘Ask a question’ button to ask a question. Select a room, and provide details of your question in the body. Then click ‘Post Question’.

How to create a Room

Creating a room in the Scholarship Region Community allows you to start focused discussions on topics, initiatives, or shared interests. By creating a room, you can connect with scholars who share similar goals, organize conversations, and build your own community.
