AMASE Master Scholarship in Europe (Erasmus Mundus)

The AMASE Erasmus Mundus Scholarship 2027 offers a fully funded route to a European master’s in Advanced Materials Science and Engineering, with tuition covered and a monthly living allowance.

Coordinated by Saarland University’s European School of Materials, AMASE combines two years of study at two partner universities with a double Master of Science degree. Its appeal is the chance to develop a materials specialism across different academic environments.

Within the AMASE Master you do not only gain valuable knowledge in Materials Science and Engineering, you also learn two of the four most widespread European languages.

You study with local students and get to know the culture of your host countries, increasing your later job opportunities.

To qualify for the Erasmus Mundus AMASE Scholarship, you must;

• have a bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering, physics, chemistry, and related disciplines for a minimum of 3 years.

• satisfy the minimum English Language proficiency requirements of your chosen participating university.

All completed applications received before the deadline will automatically be considered for EM scholarships.

There are two scholarship categories:

Full Erasmus Mundus scholarship

• 33.600 € as a monthly installment of 1.400 € for 24 months.

• Tuition fee fully covered for a total of 4 semesters.

• Health insurance

Partial Erasmus Mundus scholarship

• Tuition fee fully covered for a total of 4 semesters.

The selection of candidates for the scholarships is done by the Steering Committee according to the selection criteria. Results of the selection procedure are provided via email from March to April each year.
