The European Organization for Nuclear Research is inviting applications for the 2027 CERN Student Program.
The CERN Administrative Student Program is a full-time training opportunity that covers the full expenses of your travel, family, and health allowances, as well as a monthly stipend of Fr3,486.

The CERN Administrative Student Program in Switzerland is a full-time training opportunity that spans from 2 to 12 months.
If you’re a motivated Bachelor’s or Master’s student looking for an opportunity to work in a unique environment at the cutting edge of technology, this is your chance to take part.
It could be in any of the following disciplines: translation, human resources, advanced secretarial work, business administration, logistics, law, finance, accounting, library and information science, engineering management, science communication, education, audiovisual communication and public relations, psychology, or audit.
Eligible Countries
Scholarship Requirements
You are a national of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State.
You have completed at least 18 months of your studies (3 semesters) in the respective field at the time of the selection. PhD students or holders are not eligible.
You have a good knowledge of English or French.
You remain enrolled as a full-time student during your studentship.
Your profile:
You are currently studying in Administration, Communication, Finance, Human Resources, Law, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.
You are required or encouraged by your university to complete a practical training period.
You are eager to develop your skills through on-the-job learning.
You enjoy teamwork and learning from others in a collaborative setting.
Your skills:
A good understanding of office software and digital tools relevant to your studies.
Curiosity, precision, and a proactive attitude towards learning.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team.
Benefits
A monthly allowance of 3486 Swiss Francs (tax-free).
30 days of paid leave per year plus 2 weeks of annual closure.
Coverage by CERN’s comprehensive Health Insurance scheme (the contribution will be automatically deducted from your allowance).
Family supplement to subsistence allowance, depending on your individual circumstances.
Travel expenses to Geneva upon joining CERN, depending on your individual circumstances.
