The Dartmouth University Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies offers a competitive funding package for PhD and a number of master’s students.
In addition to our funding, some students receive prestigious awards, including National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships, and are supported by research and national training grants administered by faculty.

Eligibility Requirements for Dartmouth University Scholarship 2027
To be considered for the Dartmouth University Scholarship, you must:
Have completed a Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
Meet the English Language requirements of the university.
Satisfy the minimum requirements of the chosen program.
Graduate programs admit the most highly qualified applicants whose academic backgrounds and personal and professional experiences have prepared them for achievement and excellence in graduate studies.

Benefits of Dartmouth University Graduate Scholarship 2027
The Dartmouth University Graduate Scholarship includes tuition, health insurance, a stipend ($49,862.40 in 2026-27), and a relocation bonus among other benefits to help cover the costs of moving to and living in New Hampshire.
The funding for Master's is for a period of two (2) years, while that of PhD students is for a period of five (5) years.
Other benefits include:
Group health insurance (Dartmouth pays the premium.)
Dependent medical premium assistance (Dartmouth pays 40% of the premium.)
Relocation bonus ($1500 in 2026-2027)
Childcare grants ($5000 per child/per year)
