Applications for the 2027 Gabriel Ezenri Foundation Scholarships are now open.
The Gabriel Ezenri Foundation exists to remove the financial barriers that stand between talented people and their academic potential.

Scholarship Requirements
To be considered for the 2027 Gabriel Ezenri Foundation (GEF) Scholarship award, applicants must satisfy the following criteria:
Be a Nigerian citizen or resident
Be enrolled in, admitted to, or affiliated with an accredited tertiary institution in Nigeria
Be able to provide the required documentation (see How to Apply)
Financial Need: Must show genuine financial need.
Academic Performance: Continuing students need a minimum CGPA of 3.5/5.0.
New entrants need a UTME score of 250+ or five O’level credits (including English and Mathematics)
Researchers must:
Be an early career researchers at Nigerian institutions.
Research funds covers the following areas
Fieldwork and data collection
Laboratory consumables and small equipment
Software and dataset access
Research assistant stipends
Ethics approval fees
Transcription and analysis services
A clear, feasible research question; a realistic budget; potential for real-world or scholarly impact; and evidence the applicant can complete the work within the timeline.
Benefits
Selected awardees receive a comprehensive financial package that removes financial barriers:
Scholarships: Up to ₦500,000 for undergraduate students
Research Grants: ₦150,000–₦1,000,000 for early career researchers
Academia Support: Graduate application support and mentorship
