The Gombe State Scholarship Board has opened its application portal for the 2025/2026 academic session, inviting qualified indigenous students studying in higher institutions across Nigeria to apply.
The scholarship provides financial support up to ₦40,000 for indigenes of Gombe State who are studying in universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education across the country.

Scholarship Details
The Gombe State Government Scholarship is an educational support programme for eligible students connected to Gombe State.
The scholarship is administered through the Gombe State Scholarship Board structures and is intended to assist students with some of the financial demands associated with tertiary education.
According to the Board, the application window opened on September 30 and will close on October 20, 2026. Applicants are advised to submit their applications before the deadline, as late submissions will not be accepted.

To be considered for the Gombe State Government Scholarship,
You must be an indigene of Gombe State.
Applicants must be enrolled or gaining admission into an accredited tertiary institution (university, polytechnic, college of education, etc.).
You must have a minimum grade or CGPA (e.g., at least 2.5/4.0 or equivalent) from your previous level of education.
You must provide the required documents.
Benefits
Scholarship Allowance Structure
PhD, MSc, and PGD Students: ₦30,000
Degree and HND Students: ₦22,000 (or ₦20,000 depending on category updates)
NCE and ND Students: ₦18,000
Persons with Disabilities (PWD): ₦40,00
These amounts may be subject to change by the Scholarship Board of the Gombe State Government.
