Masters and PhD Research Scholarship at Federal University Teaching Hospital, Lafia

The FULafia Masters and PhD Scholarship is designed for graduates who want to advance their academic and research careers while contributing to scientific investigations in cancer biology, natural products, molecular mechanisms, and the development of safer therapeutic agents.

Successful candidates will have the opportunity to participate in a research project addressing an important challenge in cancer treatment.

The funded research will focus on the safety evaluation and mechanistic characterisation of Albizia chevalieri extracts, with the aim of exploring their potential in developing a safer chemotherapeutic agent against triple-negative breast cancer.

To be considered for the Federal University of Lafia Scholarship MSc research position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Biochemistry.

• Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 grading scale.

• Demonstrate a strong interest in postgraduate research and the advertised research area.

For the PhD research position, applicants must:

• Hold a Master’s degree (MSc) in Biochemistry.

• Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 grading scale.

• Demonstrate the motivation and academic background required for doctoral-level research.
