Nanyang President Graduate Scholarship (NPGS) in Singapore

The Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship (NPGS) is one of the most prestigious scholarship programs globally, designed to attract outstanding graduates or final-year students who aspire to excel in research.

This competitive opportunity invites candidates to pursue a full-time fully funded PhD at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, a leading research institution known for innovation and academic excellence.

The NPGS is exclusively for candidates pursuing PhD programs at NTU. Master’s degree programs are not included under this scholarship.

To be considered for the Nanyang President Graduate Scholarship (NPGS) 2027, you must:

• Be a Singaporean or an international student.

• Have an Honours (Highest Distinction) or equivalent at Bachelor’s level.

• Final-year undergraduate students must provide documentation indicating they are on track to achieve Honours (Highest Distinction) or its equivalent.

• International students may need to perform teaching or laboratory supervision as part of the Graduate Assistantship Programme (GAP).

The NPGS offers comprehensive financial support, making it a highly sought-after program:

• Monthly Stipend:

  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) disciplines: Up to S$5,300 for Singapore Citizens and S$4,300 for international students.

• SSH (Social Science & Humanities) disciplines: Up to S$5,300 for Singapore Citizens and S$4,300 for international students.
