The Oyo State Scholarship Board has over the years done retrospectively and creditably well in giving financial assistance to students of Oyo State indigeneship in all public tertiary institutions. 

The Oyo State Government Bursary Award aims to assist indigent but brilliant Oyo State Students financially to alleviate their financial burdens in all tertiary institutions nationwide and abroad.

The body also seeks to encourage academic excellence and ensure that no child is left out of receiving sound education. Apply now and become one of the beneficiaries.

To be considered for the Oyo State Bursary Award, you must satisfy the following requirements:

• Final Year Undergraduate, HND and Clinical students excluding Final Year Law Students

• Aviation and Maritime Students

• The above listed student/applicant must be in Nigerian universities and tertiary institutions

• Candidates from Private tertiary institutions, part time and overseas Students are NOT qualified to apply.

• The Scholarship attracts cash bursary for selected applicants

• This bursary award will be in different cash awards; Undergraduates and HND Final year Students get N100, 000 each; Final year Clinical Students get N500,000

• Aviation and Maritime Students get N500, 000 each to assist with their educational expenses.

• Master/PhD students who are studying in public Nigeria universities are to get N200, 000 each as bursary
