The University of New England Scholarship is open to both Domestic and International applicants, which will be funded jointly through industry and externally funded scholarships.

To be considered for the 2027 University of New England HDR Scholarship, you must:

• Hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree.

• Demonstrate proficiency in English Language.

Preference will be given to candidates who can study on campus, though online options may also be considered.

• The annual stipend value is $37,746 per annum (2025-26 rate) tax-free which is paid to the candidate in fortnightly instalments.

• The scholarship is tenable for three years and six months (3.5) full-time for a doctoral degree.

• The scholarship will also cover tuition fees and Single Overseas Health Cover for International candidates.
