How to reset your password

For security reasons, you may need to reset your password if you forget it or believe your account may have been compromised. Scholarship Region lets you reset your password quickly and securely, so you can regain access to your account. When should you reset your password? You should reset your password if: You can’t remember your current password You suspect unauthorised access to your account You want to improve your account security How to reset your password if you forgot it If you cannot sign in because you forgot your password, you can reset it in a few steps. Step one: Go to the Scholarship Region sign-in page here Click Forgot password? Enter the email address associated with your account Tap Send code A password reset code will be sent to your email address. If you cannot find the password reset email in your inbox, please check your spam folder, as it may be sent there occasionally. Step two: Set a new password After receiving the password reset code: Open the email from Scholarship Region and copy the reset code Return to the password reset page and paste the 6-digit code Enter a new password Confirm your new password Click Create password Once completed, your password will have been updated successfully. How to reset your password while signed in If you are already signed in and want to change your password: Go to Settings from the menu Select Privacy & Security Click Change password Enter your current password and your new password Save changes Changing your password regularly helps keep your account secure. Password tips For best security, choose a password that: is unique to Scholarship Region contains a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols is not easy to guess Avoid sharing your password with anyone.

How to check billing history

The Billing History section displays your past and current transactions. Each record includes the invoice date, payment method, status, and total amount paid. You can also view or download invoices for your records. To access your billing history: Sign in to your account. From the main menu, go to ‘Settings’. Click ‘Billing & Subscriptions’. Click ‘View Billing History’ to see all your records. You can view details of each payment or download invoices. Upgrading your subscription If you’re ready to upgrade to Pro, navigate to the Pro section, select your preferred billing cycle (monthly or yearly), and click Upgrade Now. Follow the payment prompts to complete your subscription and enjoy all the Pro benefits.

Manage notifications

Notification settings let you control the types of updates you receive, both by email and in the app. Customizing your notifications helps you stay informed without receiving unnecessary alerts. To manage your notifications: Sign in to your account Go to ‘Settings’ Select ‘Notification Settings’ Choose the type of notifications you want to receive in email and in push notifications. Click ‘Save changes’ to effect the changes. You can update your notification preferences at any time to match your communication needs.

Change password

Changing your password regularly helps keep your Scholarship Region account secure. You can update your password at any time from your account settings, especially if you believe your account may be at risk or you want to improve security. Sign in to your account. Navigate to ‘Settings’ from the menu Select ‘Privacy & Security’ Enter your current password Enter and confirm your new password Click ‘Save changes’ Your new password will take effect immediately, and you can continue using your account securely. Change theme colour

Scholarship Region allows you to switch between light and dark modes to suit your viewing preferences. You can change your theme colour at any time from your account settings. Sign in to your account. Navigate to ‘Settings’ from the main menu Tap ‘Theme’ Choose your preferred display option: System – Automatically matches your device’s current theme settings (if your phone or computer is set to dark mode, the platform will appear in dark mode; if set to light mode, it will appear in light mode). Light Mode – Displays the platform with a bright background and dark text. Dark Mode – Displays the platform with a dark background and light text. Your selection takes effect immediately and is saved to your account.

Update personal information, academic information and certifications

Keeping your profile information accurate and up to date improves scholarship matching and makes you application process significantly faster. Saved information can automatically populate applications, reducing the need to re-enter details each time you want to apply for a scholarship. To update your personal information; Sign in and go to Settings in the menu. From settings, click on ‘Personal information’ to edit your details. Click on ‘Save changes’ to effect the change To update your academic Information; Sign in and go to Settings in the menu. From settings, click on ‘Academic infirmation’ to edit your details. Navigate from High school tab to other tabs to update the details. Click on ‘Save changes’ to effect the change. To update your certifications; Sign in and go to Settings in the menu. From settings, click on ‘Certifications’ to edit your details. Delete old certifications and upload new ones. Click on ‘Save changes’ to effect the change. Regularly reviewing your profile ensures your information remains accurate and ready for scholarship submissions at any time. Profile with complete information receives 40x more opportunities.

Update preferences

Keeping your preferences up to date helps us recommend the most relevant scholarship opportunities to you. As your academic goals, interests, or location preferences change, updating your preferences helps ensure you continue to receive opportunities that match your profile. To update your preferences; Sign in to your account and navigate to ‘Settings’ in the menu Select ‘Scholarship Preferences’ Choose your preferred continent, academic level, and courses. Once you’ve made your selections, click ‘Save Preferences’. Updating your preferences regularly improves the accuracy of scholarship recommendations in your explore feed.
